She leads the creative, social, and PR teams, with her efforts driving 20%+ YoY sales growth and a $20M+ beat to plan in FY25, including 120% digital sales growth. She manages go-to-market strategies for new product launches through cross-functional collaboration with PR, creative, digital, and retail teams, consistently refining brand positioning to improve campaign ROI and performance across channels.
She has managed various brand partnerships, such as Barry’s, Dr. Barbara Sturm, Hilma, and KORA Organics, leading campaign coordination and execution. She has also supported the creative execution and marketing strategy for nationwide wholesale expansions into Target, Sprouts, and Costco, overseeing packaging, in-store campaigns, and digital promotion.

In her time freelancing at this early-stage startup, Mikayla partnered directly with the founder to grow the brand’s digital presence and overall brand awareness. In her efforts to drive retail expansion, she developed the brand’s story and social strategies, positioning Sang as a trailblazer in the CPG space.

Managing social media campaigns and in-app content, Mikayla’s efforts as Content Marketing Manager drove 150k user activations, propelling Octi to #1 on the App Store upon launch. She managed the full lifecycle of video content creation for both organic and paid campaigns, while growing the brand’s TikTok following by 462% in a four-month period. She coordinated partnerships with 300+ influencers, building an influencer program and college ambassador program to expand brand awareness. Additionally, she managed the brand’s copywriting for social, UX design, and push notification to engage users and drive conversion. In this role, Mikayla led a high-performing team of 7 junior team members through project execution, providing mentorship and cultivating collaboration.

She strategized partnerships with local influencers, businesses, and organizations, frequently coordinating brand sponsored events to bring the Bumble buzz to her university.
